As part of the Opus Prize finalist selection process, we will be extending the life-changing opportunity for three Catholic University students to serve as 2022 Opus Prize Student Ambassadors. During the spring of 2022, Opus Prize Student Ambassadors will accompany Catholic University faculty/staff and members of the Opus Prize Foundation Board to evaluate in the field the work of the finalists under consideration for the Opus Prize. Please note, these site visits are not service trips and not study abroad trips, but rather "due diligence" site visits to fully engage with the finalists and their organizations and carefully and thoughtfully observe their meaningful and important work. The purpose of the site visit is to ensure the finalists are meeting the values established by the Opus Prize Foundation. The Student Ambassador voice will be an integral part of the final section process for award winners. Final decisions are made by the Opus Prize Foundation. The 2022 Opus Prize finalist site visit locations and the persisting social issues being addressed are not yet known, so we ask Student Ambassador applicants to approach this process with flexibility.
We invite you to carefully review this information and give your sincere consideration to submitting an application for the 2022 Opus Student Ambassador program.
Below are additional information, expectations, and commitments, and the application form with submission instructions.
